Setting up your subscription on a Mac or MacBook — step by step
On a Mac you get the best of both worlds: apps from the Mac App Store, AirPlay to an Apple TV or a compatible TV, and a direct cable if you want the steadiest connection. This guide covers setup with a compatible player or VLC, and how to send the picture to the big screen.
Before you start
Server URL, username and password (Xtream Codes) or an M3U link — sent after payment. Paste them from our message instead of typing character by character.
An Ethernet cable (or a USB-C adapter) is best; on Wi-Fi choose the 5GHz band.
System Settings › General › Software Update. Updates fix many playback problems.
The steps
- Way one: a player from the Mac App Store
Search for a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U and install it. Message us and we confirm the player currently available for macOS.
- Enter your subscription details
Choose Xtream Codes and paste the server URL, username and password from our message. Wait for the channels to load, then play one.
- Way two: VLC with an M3U link
Install VLC from its official site, then File › Open Network, paste the M3U link, then Open. The channels appear in the playlist (Window › Playlist).
Dedicated players give a channel guide and favourites; VLC is for quick playback. - Send it to the big screen
From Control Centre › Screen Mirroring choose an Apple TV or an AirPlay-capable TV, or connect an HDMI cable.

The highest quality in the app’s settings, full screen, and a test of two channels at peak time.

If you prefer a player from your device’s store instead of our official apps: install one of these players, send us the MAC it shows on first open, and we activate your subscription on it. These are third-party players; their availability depends on your device’s system and your country, and we do not own them nor does our plan include their licences.
A Mac with an Apple TV

After the first channel plays
Start in high definition and raise it to 4K once the connection holds.
In dedicated players add your channels to favourites.
Turn on a Focus mode while watching so notifications do not interrupt full screen.
Common problems on this device
Make sure the M3U link is pasted in full without spaces and the subscription is active, and try File › Open Network again.
Move the Mac closer to the router, close heavy apps, or use an HDMI cable instead of streaming.
Connect an Ethernet cable where you can, close downloads and many tabs, and drop the quality one step for a while.
