Setting up your subscription on a Smart TV — Hisense, TCL, Toshiba and the other systems

Not every smart screen is a Samsung or an LG. Hisense mostly runs VIDAA, TCL, Philips and Sony run Android or Google TV, and some screens run Roku or proprietary systems. This guide first helps you identify your TV’s system, then points you to the right way — from the store or with an external device.

Before you start

Your subscription details

Server URL, username and password (Xtream Codes) or an M3U link — sent after payment. Paste them from our message instead of typing character by character.

A steady connection

15 Mbps for high definition and 30 Mbps for 4K, measured on the device itself. An Ethernet cable or 5GHz Wi-Fi gives the steadiest result.

Know the TV’s system

Settings › About TV (or System info). The system name decides the way: Android TV / Google TV / VIDAA / Roku / other.

The steps

  1. Identify your TV’s system

From Settings › About, or from the look of the home screen: Android and Google TV show the Google Play store; VIDAA (Hisense) has the VIDAA store; Roku has the Roku Channel Store. If the system is Android TV or Google TV, go straight to its guide.

  2. Search the TV’s store for one of the supported players

Open the app store on your TV and search for one of the players listed below. The small stores (VIDAA, Roku) have limited options; message us with the system and model and we confirm whether a player is available.

  3. If a player exists: open it and send us the MAC

On first open the player shows a MAC address and a device key. Photograph the screen and send it to us on WhatsApp with the player’s name — we activate your subscription on it, then reopen the player and wait for the channels.

  4. If not: an external device over HDMI

A Fire TV Stick or an Android box plugs into an HDMI port and turns any TV into a full smart screen with our official apps through Downloader. Switch the input source to the HDMI port in use.

The external device uses the TV only as a screen — the same quality, more flexibility.
  5. Test and set the picture

Play two different channels at peak time, and set the picture mode and motion smoothing in the TV’s settings.

These are third-party players. Their availability depends on your TV’s manufacturer and your country; we do not own these apps and our plan does not include their licences. Install whichever is available in your TV’s store, and message us if in doubt.

What suits each system?

Android TV / Google TV: from Google Play or Downloader directly. VIDAA, Roku and proprietary systems: check the store first; an external device is the surest answer. Message us with the model and we point you the right way in a minute.

After the first channel plays

1Set the quality

Start on automatic or HD and raise it to 4K once the connection proves steady at peak time.

2Organise favourites

Add the channels you actually watch to favourites so they are one press away, and hide categories you do not need.

3Set the screen

Cinema mode for films and Standard for matches, and reduce motion smoothing if fast shots look unnatural.

Common problems on this device

The app is not in the store

Availability varies by country and model year. Try the other players in the list; if none is available, an external device over HDMI is the answer — message us with the model.

The channels did not appear after activation

Reopen the player or press Reload, and make sure the MAC you sent matches the screen character for character. If you reinstalled the player, send us the new key.

The player is slow or freezes

Close other apps in the background, unplug the TV for a few seconds and restart it. Older models have limited memory.

Stutter while watching

Move the TV closer to the router or connect an Ethernet cable, pause downloads on the network, and drop the quality one step for a while.

Frequently asked questions

Does the subscription work on a Hisense TV?

If it runs Android TV or Google TV, yes directly. If it runs VIDAA, check its store first; otherwise an external device over HDMI. Message us with the model.

Does it work on Roku?

Roku’s options are limited. An external device over HDMI is the surest answer for Roku TVs.

What is the MAC and why do you need it?

An address that identifies your device, shown by the player on first open. We attach your subscription to it, so the channels appear in the player without typing any details.

I changed the TV or reinstalled the player — what now?

The key changes with a new device and sometimes with a reinstall. Send us the new MAC on WhatsApp and we update the activation.

Which external device should I choose?

The Fire TV Stick is the easiest and most common; Android boxes give more storage and memory. Both work with our official apps through Downloader.

How many devices can I use?

We help you set up on two devices, with playback on one device at a time. If you need more than one screen, ask before ordering.

Menu and setting names differ slightly between versions and models, and app availability in the stores varies by country. Picture quality and stability depend on the source, your device and your connection speed. If you cannot find an option mentioned here, message us on WhatsApp with your model.
